Harnesses
Some degree of rationalisation has of course taken place here - to make and stock all the original permutations of harness would not stack up as a
sound business proposition! As a result, although much care and development has gone into this range, there will probably be occasions when
you come to connect your nice new harness and you've got a wire or two left over. Don't worry, you may not have made a mistake; it's just that it's
sometimes not viable to make different harnesses for cars built in the same period with only detail differences between them. Tucking
unnecessary wires away out of sight is usually not a problem, but if you are at all worried, call us and one of our workshop staff would be happy to
advise you.
Having said all that, we can get a harness made in bespoke fashion for you if required, if you intend to mix and match different electrical equipment
on your car. We would normally take payment beforehand for this service, as a guarantee that we don't get left with an odd product on our shelves.
The harnesses listed here for models up to 1971 are designed for use on a car fitted with a dynamo. Equivalent harnesses for cars fitted with the
optional AC type alternator are available; please contact us for details.

All our harnesses are cloth or PVC bound (or both in a couple of instances), following faithfully the appearance of the original harness in your car.
